Job purpose:

The Technology Solutions Coordinator position is a hands-on technical role as part of the ICT Team. The ICT Team is responsible for managing IT technologies, developing and establishing IT infrastructure standards and procedures of IT software and hardware systems supporting the business.


Duties and responsibilities:

The incumbent is responsible for the following:

  • Perform system administrative tasks maintaining, updating and enhancing the production systems, including monitoring, managing, and tuning servers, and systems to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
  • Troubleshoot through diagnostic techniques and by asking pertinent questions to assess and resolve internal user issues and follow up to ensure maximum user productivity.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Participates in the implementation of new technologies and applications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate team members
  • Provide solution/identify and recommend software customizations and enhancements to meet ongoing business requirements using appropriate technologies and services.
  • Create and execute development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Participate in procurement management and sourcing of supplies as required.
  • Supporting customers in an On-Call Rotation for afterhours emergency calls.
  • Perform other duties as they arise and are assigned.



  • University degree in Computer Science or college diploma from a related program
  • 3 years or more of experience in similar positions
  • Customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of networking infrastructure, AWS, Azure, Linux, Windows including CLI for each; Office products and iOS and Android
  • Exceptional ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Energetic and positive attitude


Working conditions:

  • This position is based in an office environment.
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, may include some evenings/weekends.
  • Some travel may be required.


Physical requirements:

  • Able to spend long hours sitting and using computers, which can cause muscle strain.
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs of computer equipment.
