This week, CounterTack announced a Series D round of financingThis round of funding is led by new CounterTack investor Singtel Innov8 (venture capital arm of The Singtel Group), along with SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2 ™), also a new investor in CounterTack.

Welcendpoint detection and responseome to both new investors and thanks for supporting CounterTack, and thank you to existing investors who contributed with follow-on investments.

Continuing the momentum this week, CounterTack made a second announcement Wednesday that it has partnered with SAP NS2, to deliver unprecedented scale in overall performance, inclusive of enhanced and reduced complexity for customers.

In integrating with SAP HANA through this partnership, CounterTack’s Endpoint Threat Platform (ETP) will deliver more value at-scale, with the addition of more detection algorithms without impacting performance, along with operational improvements designed to give even more flexibility to customers and partners.

The name of the game in the Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) market, the Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) market and for CounterTack is growth and innovation. This is where the funding, and the innovation on the technology side will be applied – to solve very challenging problems on the endpoint and beyond as organizations are confronted by a stymying set of attacks everyday.

CounterTack announced a Series C extension last November to support over 150% growth in the APAC market. However, with this Series D round, the company is focused entirely on growth in all areas, to continue its worldwide expansion, and to increase adoption of our flagship product, the Endpoint Threat Platform.

CounterTack has maintained a truly differentiated offering, and position in the market, since the venture kicked off in 2011. EDR has always been about the detection of attacks through a different lens for users, done quickly and at-scale without machine performance degradation, to ultimately neutralize threats quickly and decisively – even without indicators.

As we look to grow, we remain laser focused on our charter – which is to deliver unprecedented visibility and analysis on endpoints throughout the enterprise with next-generation behavioral and data collection technologies, enabling organizations to use one sensor and one common backend to combat external and internal threats.
